Jim, are you remodeling? I'm redoing my kitchen, gutting and replacing. God. Horror of horrors. I'm settling on a schist countertop. I haven't dealt with the tea stain issue yet, but know what? Tea stains are our friends. I'm going nutso with this. (Were you speaking of some reference I made to remodeling earlier on? I don't think I mentioned it here. I'm having special tea storage cabinets built. I'm crazy. I'm totally wacked.)

I've thought on more than one occasion that a brick of puer looks just like a block of cannabis buds or hash :-)

I tried to send you email using the Google email address and it bounced. It spurted out and left a big stain on the granite. I freaked out. Fortunately it evaporated. Other stains will cause a problem and it is a combination of granite hardness and color. I'm done with the kitchen,bathrooms,windows,deck. Next is guttering and soffits. I buy the materials and hire the installers. Even with contractors you will have to make a judgement call. I was making reference to the music you mention as an afterthought..
