Along those lines I also have a question or maybe more appropriately a bit of a gripe...on Imperial Tea Court's website they have (under the What's New link) a Long Jing. But they don't say what year this Longjing is. I am presuming that it is 2004 but it gives the impression that it is something brand new and that people need to hurry because it won't last etc. link here:

I don't like to have to guess when a tea was made.
I find this on quite a few websites, they don't give the year of the crop that they're selling and it's very frustrating given how tea deteriorates (especially greens) over time. Ahyhow, I'm going to keep my eyes open, I don't have a strategy except to wait and see if there is a syncronicity between me and some spring green tea somewhere....vague enough I guess, :)
