tea and alcohol in the mix

i know theres long island iced tea, and jagertee, and i have yet to try them.

but i just tried some puer with rum (coconut flavored), ... i think it reminded me of Jägermeister then i tried pu+rum+some lemon+some sugar... or was that the jagermeister memory...

any tea kinds that matches flavors with a certain alcohol?

Just stay away from the bottled RAW tea malt beverages. The green tea one is just horrible, but the peach black tea is only bad. Either way not good, but I really hadn't expected much more. I've never been a big alcohol person in the first place, but I appreciate a really good beer or real margarita. Neither go well with tea.

hehe, beer tea... cant imagine youd be able to taste tea flavor at all, ,most beer has its own strong "malty-tanninicness"

...beer tea... hmmm...

I'm thinking a Silver Needle Delirium or a Mill Street Puer Porter. :)

Nicest "mixture" of tea and alcohol I've ever had was a tall glass of vodka (polish Zytnia, if you can get it) and a cup of strong black tea (Assam or Hainan, or similar pungent, strong tea, a Samovar might be handy for this) side by side. Take a sip of vodka and follow it with a sip of the tea and take delight in the explosion. Beware though, you may forget how much vodka you are drinking, the effects tend to have a time lag.
