Hello, I'm wondering where to find specialty teas in the Tampa Bay area? (I'm in Largo/Pinellas Park)
I'm looking for a gunpowder green tea brand called "Temple of Heaven".
Other than tea shops are there any oriental food stores in the area which might have this?
Temple of Heaven is a fairly low-grade tea that is mostly sold to Chinese people in the US. You won't find it in any tea store, but you should have no problem finding it in Chinese grocery stores.
If you don't find a local supplier, I think that asiachi.com carries the stuff. They want ten bucks for what my local oriental grocery wants four bucks for, though. They aren't a bad resource for Chinese food products that you can't find locally.
