About a year ago, I began to ween myself off of Irish Whisky on to Scotch. There's so much more variety.
About three days ago I stumbled across some online shop offering The Macallan 25 for $150USD. I thought this a bit odd considering the 18 goes for about $135USD where I live. When I went to purchase, they were out of stock. I tried a couple of other similarly priced whiskies and the same thing: out of stock.
Do you suppose they have purposely done this? Surely, $150 for the 25 is well below cost. I'll bet they have done this to entice you to return to the site over and over and they hope that you;ll just buy something else while you are there.
