Cairnluish

Saw this on the shelf of my neighborhood supermarket today (USA). Couldn't pass it up as it was on sale for under $19. Label displays following: Single Highland Malt 12 year "A complex flavour, delicate & sweet as heather with hints of peat smoke and light oakiness. A refreshing, aromatic malt. It is distributed in the states by Leith Distillers, Edinburgh, Scotland. I know there are a lot of derivatives covered in these newsgroup, but I did a search & have never seen this bottle covered here. Anyone tried this ? I don't have the time to open it tonight due to sobriety issues but I will report my opinion later.. Scott

Cairnluish is a brandname of Whyte & Mackay's (previously known as Kyndal).

And since W&M don't own that many distilleries it's either a Dalmore or a Fettercairn. If it's a Dalmor it might be quite good, but I've never tasted a Fettercairn I've enjoyed.
