I work for a liquor retailer in Florida, United States. My brother is always looking for unusual stuff and we brought some whiskies out of the store room which he looked over.
We found three bottles (two separate bottlings) of "John Barr Excellence" Scotch similar (though not necessarily identical to this:

Ours are sharply marked down, I guess priced to move and there is virtually NOTHING on the web regarding this bottle. The two bottlings are 28 and 29 years old. Is this the product of an independent bottler? Is anything known of this?
I would sure appreciate some help.
