I am going to be in south-east Florida for a few days later this week, north of West Palm Beach, in the Stuart, Palm City area. I'd love to find some malts I can't get here in North Carolina, like Ardbeg and Lismore, for example. Which of the chain-shops should I look for??

ABC is everywhere--but in most cases they will only have a couple malts. I did see one in Tampa that had a broad selection, but although this chain is huge, it's amazing how bare bones their malt selection is. They did have the Dalmore on sale for $22.99 this November.
I got my Lismore at an Albertson's, which is a ubiquitous grocery chain, and in this case the liquor department was large, and housed in a separate building. So large grocery stores may be a good place to look if the liquor stores you find aren't into malts!
