Hey guys, I just got back from Italy and was able to stop in the Rome Duty Free before my flight.
Picked up a bottle of Laphroaig Cask Strength for 42 Euro and a bottle of Bushmills 1608 for 22 Euro.
I used to love the 1608 but it seems the Irish Duty Free stopped carrying it. When I saw it I had to put down the Ballentine's 17 YO and pick this up instead. I tried it last night I was very happy with it.
I also tried the Laphroaig CS last night and liked it a lot as well. However, it is VERY smooth and I cannot believe this is a Cask Strength bottle. For some reason I thought this would be a lot harder to drink. Anyone else feel this way? I think I could easily drink it all night.
