Mt. Redon and Clerc Milon

Notes on a couple of bottles shared with friends over Bambi-burgers.

2004 Mont Redon CNduP – quite decent cocoa and leather nose, a dark wine, fairly well balanced, medium bodied and intended for early drinking.

1989 Ch. Clerc Milon – a stand out nose on this one with cedar and fruit, the colour now showing a hint of brick, smooth in the mouth and with good fruit, and the tannins finally softened. Very nice now and no rush.

Thanks, I have a bottle of the Mont Redon waiting to be picked up
