Big mistake last night.
Was invited to a friends house for dinner and I asked if I can bring the wine....which was more than OK.
Friends last name is Caymus similar to bottling. Not related however. They were making Beef Tenderloins and I thought I would pair with 2 bottles. Rausan Segla 1989 which last time I drank must have been a bad bottle...so I was cleaning out my cellar followed by the 1994 Caymus Select.
All I can say is that Caymus could not follow the Rausan...
Won't make that mistake again.
