Easier way to check acidity/sulfite?

Is there an easier way to check for sulfite content in finished wine other than the Titrate kits? How about an easier acid test kit? Both are not the easiest to use, and always leave me wondering about the accuracy of the results. It just seems that with all the technology out there, there would be an easier test kit, similar to a swimming pool test kit.

Is there an easier way to test for sulfite/acidity, or are these the best out there?? Thanks, Paul

I called the company that makes the Titrate kit and was told to throw away the plastic Titrator and instead to simply use the thumb and index finger over the check valve ball to control the amount drawn into the vacuum tube that contains the chemical. This helped somewhat but no I haven't come across a more sophisticated way of doing it.
