You can tell the season without going outside by reading this site.
In the dead of winter it is Welch's concentrate and kits. In Summer it is country fruit wines. In the fall it is all Merlot, Syrah, Chardonnay, and the like.

Now there is a very parochial view! Is your summer the same as mine? If you live south of the equator then it won't be. You presume too much!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Many of us on here do not reside in the USA! ---- or even Oz --- and there must be a sizeable divergence, even in the USA
I also have never used (or even ever seen) a Welch's kit!!!!!!!!!!!!
And what is "fall" --- something to do with "Humpty Dumpty" !!! --- sorry I couldn't resist it!
You mean in England there are grapes ready to harvest year round? Ed
In February you can also tell if it was a vintage year in the Northern Hemisphere by the number of sparkling wine posts.
:)
You are correct, we occasionally get sunshine in the summer in Canada ;)
I really did not mean to push your button, Trevor. But I stand my observation. I could have put months in place of seasons to be politically correct I guess. Maybe most posters, of course not all, are from the northern hemisphere.
