How to store beer right

the Winter Welcome seems to be the worst offender though none are immune. When it shows up here, I will occasionally, given the desire, buy the closed case of 12 bottles. But if I just want the one bottle, I will get it as soon as it shows up in the stores, and I always pull the first 3 bottles off the rack and grab one from the back, then put the first 3 bottles back in their place. I've had success avoiding lightstruck beers of many brands this way.
