I guess it's no secret - "Tusker" isn't great!

Brewed since 1933 in Nairobi, Kenya, it really is just another bland blonde lager.

That's not necessarily bad... I had one African beer (wish I could remember the name!) that smelled/tasted a bit like formeldahyde. Ew...

Well, Tusker really does taste like any Bud-Miller-Coors brew, so that's "not great" in my book. Luckily, I only spent 99 cents on a 500 ml bottle, so I don't feel ripped off.

My apologies; I didn't write very clearly... I didn't mean that Tusker "wasn't bad" necessarily, just that you could have had a far worse fate then BMC-like blandness.

I seem to recall that it has a relatively nice label if you tend to save bottles for display too. Again, not great, but I've seen worse.
