Unannounced (and perhaps inadvertent) IPA-Fest at Toronado

There's nothing on their website

indicating that this is an intentional concatenation of brews, but San Francisco's Toronado is currently featuring a dozen IPAs which would make for a nice horizontal tasting. (I use this phrase in the oenological sense, not as a description of the taster's probable orientation after going through all twelve at a sitting.)

On the tap handles as of a couple of hours ago:

  1. Anderson Valley Highpockety Hop Double IPA. (Pick of the litter!)
  2. Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA.
  3. Drake's IPA (handpump)
  4. Drake's Summit IPA
  5. Firestone-Walker Nectar IPA.
  6. Full Sail Sunspot IPA.
  7. Iron Springs Casey Jones Double IPA.
  8. Moonlight Bombay by Boat IPA.
  9. Russian River Blind Pig IPA.
  10. Santa Barbara IPA. (First time I've seen any of this firm's products in the Bay Area.)
  11. Sierra Nevada IPA.
  12. Speekeasy Big Daddy IPA.

Thanks for the "head's" up, Alan. I've only had two of the 12, so I'm batting what? .167? I'll get into the City soon and catch up to Ty Cobb ASAP.
