In a recent post, there were some varied opinions on this topic. I use a 10% solution, made with distilled water. I make about 500 ml at a time, keeping it in differing sized broan glass chem bottles with secure lids. Keep potent for a long time. I am able to use the smae 10% solution for sanitizing, airlock fluid, and adding sulfite - so as not to mess with varying strength solutions (increses the risk of screwing something up!).
To make a 10% solution, put 50 grams of K2S2O5 crystalline powder into a 500 ml beaker, then fill the beaker with distilled water to the 500 ml level. Agitate with a magentic stirrer until absolutely dissolved.
I use a weaker solution than Ric, I add 1/4 teaspoon pot meta to 1 quart of water in a spray bottle. I add 1/2 teaspoon of citric acid to lower the pH too. That works out to about a 1% solution.

I think there are a lot better sanitizers out there. I prefer Starsan, myself.
