Tks Fellas for the replies on twist cap. Can I ask another question?
How does the twist cap measure up against the normal crowns? Is its performance better or worse against the normal crowns?

From personal experience it would be hard to say, but I've not had a major problem with flat or oxidized beer in twist-off bottles. In fact I don't think I've had any such problems.
"Many?" Really? I haven't seen many caps at all fail on commercial beers. The only ones I have seen fail have been crown caps, though, and they've all been imports.
I've never seem any to fail. Out of curiosity, I shook up the 12-pack with twist caps (Capital Special Pilsner) and none showed any signs of the leak. Personally, I doubt there is anything inherently wrong with properly execured twist caps. it's probably the same deal as with wines - corks are traditional, yet they suck in many respects, and yet there is always someone claiming twist open bottles are in more then one way inferior.

The commercial twist-off cappers are most probably in the $500,000 range. Even if I had one I would probably waste half of my brew and a lot of time setting the capper correctly, either leaking bottle caps or crushing the bottles.
I have no experience in the brewery industry but I do have a lot of experience in the manufacturing and packaging industry.
