Man, does anyone know of any IT/programming jobs that would allow me to get to Bavaria/Germany on a somewhat regular basis without requiring that I live there for long stretches of time? I'm not ready to make the total jump...

We spent a little bit of time in Schwabing, primarily in Das Haus der 111 Biers (oh man, I went to Germany in part for Oktoberfest, but the only hangover I had was from this bar -- I hooked up with a couple guys vacationing from Dusseldorf who were buying rounds of strong beers WAY too often).
You know... Actually, I think it was Forschungs that we found a little cafe serving... A friend was collecting weissbier glasses, and he asked if he could buy a glass there, and the waitress said we could just take the ones we had -- which were awesome, having a plastic applique label instead of a painted-on one -- only I decided not to take mine. WHAT AN IDIOT!!
I believe so. It's just across the curve of a street allowing traffic from a pedestrian area, there's a leather-goods/traditional clothing shop right there too I think.
I wish we'd been able to stay there longer and/or make a couple more visits there...
Pft, I could do that no problem. Now I have no excuse not to go at some point. Excepting money and vacation time, mind.
