did anybody from this froup make it there? I had a good time! ;-) It wasn't too crowded. My girlfriend had to drive us home - heheh

I think there needs to be some kind of Midwest Beer Fest

Great idea! It could be held in the capital city of one of the midwestern states, preferably outdoors in the summer due to weather concerns, with a timing to beat back-to-school crowds yet late enough to avoid most family vacations... say the second Saturday in August.

....Nah, it would never draw enough interest. I mean, how many breweries, let alone people interested enough in beer to get decent attendance, could there be in the midwest?

It's hard enough to get tickets without more people finding out about it!

I think it's already reached the saturation level-- as many new people find out about it as "old" people simply give up.

Hey, I hope you're right and it gets easier for guys like me who ain't giving up to get tickets.
