I am thinking about going to the Maine Brewer's Festival this year, but heard that it was over sold last year and basically when you got a beer you had to get back in line for the next beer. Anybody go last year or know anything about the venue (Portland Expo)... thanks

Smelled of alpaca pee cause they had an alpaca convention the weekend before. The usual Maine brews as usual, there were a few shining stars though many of those beers ran out quickly. An odd food booth was serving curry ... not a good mix with alpaca pee. All in all it was a drunk fest with long beer lines. Other than that it is a great festival if you want to drink specifically Maine brews ... I hope you like diacetyl. ;-)
