Moerlein Lager House looking for subcontractors

Starting Friday, subcontractors can put in their bids for work on the $ 4 million Moerlein Lager House, the restaurant and microbrewery being constructed on Cincinnati?s riverfront. Schumacher Construction Management, the general contractor for the project, said it will be soliciting bids from subcontractors for the construction of the building?s exterior components including, work the roof, structural steel, masonry, carpentry, aluminum and glass. Developers said Thursday that work on the restaurant and microbrewery remains on track with the lager house slated to open by September next year.


When finished, the two-story venue will seat up to 500 inside with room for up to 600 in an outdoor beer garden.
