Stoudts

I will try pretty much anything beer wise as long as it isn't anhueser busch or %99.9 miller products (leinenkugels but one exemption since miller bought them), or scmidt's, schlitz and so on so forth. Yuengling has pretty much been the equivalent to budweiser just for the fact that was the regular beer to buy when the takeouts all had $9.00 sixes. The lager is decent though too heavy for summer and the porter is above average.

I started buying stoudt's from the fat dog stoudt to the pilsers, golden lager and whatever else i could find. They turn out some pretty good beers. If in the PA area pick some up and try it out. A case runs anywhere from $26 - $30. May not be the best beer i have ever had but most definatly above average and most assuredly will satisfy most beer snobs (me being one). One of those beers that company that comes over with a 30 pack of bud light and then drinks your beer because it is actually decent (i effin hate that, cheap bastards).

Over the winter i had probally the best beer i ever bought and that would be Aventinus. Not something i would by in the warm months of summer though.

enjoy a cold one for our troops and have a good one.
