(UK only) WWW.BOOZE-UK.COM - excellent!

Hi All!

I posted a message recently asking if anyone had tried booze-uk.com but didnt get any reply so assumed noone had so I decided to take the plunge and try it.

I wanted to get my Dad (who likes to try out different beers) something unusual for his brithday and found these guys on shopsafe.

I have to say that I was most impressed! They have a facility to let you make up your own mixed crate of beer from ANY of their beers which was perfect for me as I could add in an Australian one, Belgian, German etc.

I ordered the beer on 17th and it appeared yesterday and was really well packaged (the beer itself was sealed up and had polystyrene chips inside for protection and was itslef in a bigger box full of polystyrene).

If anyone wants a recommendation for an easy to use UK based beer site then try these guys - I was impressed and am going to use them for some Xmas presents (a bit lazy I now but hey, that's what technology is for!!!)

im in the uk but then again the reason im here is to hear about beers elsewhere in the world and not in the uk.

Also, there are already UK-orientated newsgroups, like uk.food+drink.real-ale. Nowt wrong with discussing UK beers there, although they do tend to prefer discussions of real ales and bottle-conditioned beers and the like.
