I *finally* got a hold of some...and I'm WAY pleased. This is one fu*king good Barleywine Style Ale! And...I find the 11% abv rather easy to deal with because it does not take charge and dominate the flavor. Still sipping it though. ANOTHER winner from Victory, imho.

Interesting, I see more and more of it around here of late. Did you ever try Buzzard's bay. The Ales are good, but rather like the lager.
Buzzard's Bay? Massachusetts brewery? I recall having something from them in one of my recent Beer of The Month deliveries.(I did some googling) Oh yes, their Golden Ale and Pale Ale. I, like you, thought they were good.
