Wasn't there a brewery in the 70's at the Frog & Frigate? ISTR drinking beers from them at a number of beer festivals and one or two freehouses.
Plus of course there have been several other pub breweries, but I'm not sure if they supplied outside their own premises.
BTW I hope the White Star beer arrives OK.

And if the guy who posted that here doubles as bar manager, there's a fair chance of the beers being taken proper care of... :o)))
Enjoy it, Ian !

Correct, Frog beers were very popular as I recall, and the Hedgehog & Hogshead, Gate Inn, etc all flirted with brewing "in the shed out the back" so to speak. White Star is the first commercial brewery not attached to a pub since 1952.
It has indeed arrived and is proving very popular :-)

They are indeed, and you're right - the range is pretty extensive and covers Australian, Belgian, Dutch, French Corsican, American and British beers just to name a few areas off the top of my head. Plus they have a stock of Nigerian-brewed Guinness!
Cheers, Ian

You're too kind, Laurent :o) No, this year I find myself in the back office counting the money. The beer is in good hands though, and of course I venture out of my dungeon to check it often... ;-)
Thanks - I will! :o) I am, in fact - we're right in the middle of it now, one more day to go. Plenty of brews on show that I hadn't tried before, including the new venture at the Bankes Arms in Purbeck.
Now (2am!) I had better get some sleep before the long day ahead...
Cheers, Ian
