This year sees the 28th Farnham Beerex - the longest continuously running beer festival at a single site anywhere in Britain. Tickets are on sale THIS COMING SUNDAY, 22nd February at The Maltings, from 7am - 9am on a first come, first served basis (rationing applies). Cost is £5 each to include souvenir half-pint glass tankard. Tickets sell out very quickly so, usually within 2 hours, apart from a few for Thursday; so this is likely to be your only chance. Approx 90 Real Ales from 40 brewers Beers in the Great Hall and the Malt Room and approx 15 Real Ciders and Perries in the Tannery Bar; quiet seating area in the Barley Room (upstairs).
Organised by CAMRA Surrey and Hants Borders Branch, Farnham Lions Club and Farnham Maltings Association, WITH PROFITS GOING TO LOCAL, NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL CHARITIES via The Lions Club. The Beerex is proud to sell only beers from small or regional independent breweries.
The Maltings will provide a range of hot and cold snacks along with soft drinks, tea and coffee. Entertainment will include music at each session (only in the Great Hall). Morris dancing (at various times) in the Courtyard.
