Messages to GK

GK "Beer to Dine For" (ugh!) bottles in supermarkets are currently carrying around their necks a "Try me Free" special offer thingy.

GK will refund the purchase price of the bottle - all you have to do is provide the till receipt and fill in the the box on the form "Please outline your likes and dislikes (no less than 15 words)".

It does not say ""Please outline your likes and dislikes ABOUT BEER TO DINE FOR", so I think it's probably resonable to make comment on any of GK's activities.

Sadly they've been wise enough to put in the small print one bottle per household and no bulk applications will be accepted.

So, in no less than 15 words, what would you like to tell them?

Why is your award winning beer so bad in many pubs?

Following on from Alan's message. . .

Shouldn't that be: "Why don't you sell the beer that won the award in your pubs" (Instead of IPA).

Had another pint of IPA the other day. The previous pint had tasted "appley" - which another poster said meant it was going off. This pint was unrecognisable as the beer I had drunk the previous time. So my 15 words or less:

"Why can't you brew beer that has a consistent taste?"

That's keg.

I refer you to previous comments regarding the state of the beer in the pubs. Keg = hard to modify taste. Cask = rather easier to abuse into something awful.

Think about it: what makes a good pub?
