Had several pints of Black Cat in Holmfirth and Haworth areas recently. Wonderful overtones of chocolate malt and roast barley. Great stuff. Wish it was more readily available instead of this lichtbrau junk that seems so prevalent these days.

If anyone has come across Fuller's version of Gale's Festival Mild could they post their comments or send them to: mild(at)savegales(do)org(dot)uk
We hope to be meeting the brewer this weekend so feedback would be helpful.

On sale at the Victoria (Paddington) last weekend. Pleasant enough but not Gales as I remember.
Left me with a mild tightness behind the eyes the next day too, and I don't recall any Gales beer doing that before even when taken in "immoderate" quantity.
