Red Brick Brewery

Hope someone can help.

Last night in the Bon Accord, Glasgow, I had a pint of Snowy Peak (4.2% abv) from the Red Brick Brewery.

Does anyone have any info about this brewery.

All the cellarman could tell me was it was ordered from the Scottish Courage list and that the cask was the property of W&D.

The beer was pale in colour, fruity, with a fresh hoppy finish.

Any help appreciated.

Cheers, Robin.

It's a Wolverhampton & Dudley beer, probably brewed at Marstons. They also have another non-existant brewery called Wranghams. It seems there ploy is to just invent a brewery, and yes I know Wranghams did exist, rather than take then over as GK do. It's still a "fake" guest beer though.

It's no secret, it's a Marston's brew.Neither is it new, there have been Red Brick beer around for quite a while and everybody knew it was from W&D.

There's never been any secret about it, it's brewed by Marston's.Nothing new either, there have been Red Brick beers for quite a while and I thought everybody knew where they originate.

Many thanks for all the replies. I thought I'd heard the name "Red Brick Brewery" before but could not remember in what context.

Robin.
