I would have understood if they were going to brew Yebisu beer (Sapporo breweries) but Super Dry is revolting and has this pukey after-taste. It's full of rice and corn starch. Yuck! Is that what Brits want to drink rhese days? Looks like I'm gonna stay a refugee for quite a while yet :-)

Just remembered that Sapporo are doing business with DIAGEO, at least here they are, importing or brewing Guinness and Kilkenny.

Image, Wayne, that's all that matters to some idiots. It's "foreign" therefore exotic, and it enhances their standing amongst their mates and those attractive young ladies standing nearby. They wish. How else do you explain the success of all the other mediocre and downright bad beers being sipped from bottles by the 'in' crowd?

As it's one of the closest breweries to home this can only be a good thing. Anything is better than their current muck !
