"Join CAMRA today and receive Wetherspoon real-ale vouchers worth £20": that's the offer in the brochure which I picked up in a Wetherspoon's pub on Thursday, and it seems almost too good to be true, so I'm wondering what the catch(es) might be.
Inasmuch as it mentions "40 x 50p-off vouchers to be used throughout your annual membership" I've a nasty suspicion that I might be constrained to using them on forty different days, which is no use to me as there's no Wetherspoons nearby. Five days of my choice, with eight vouchers used on each day (there'd be two of us drinking) would be much more convenient.
Has anyone signed up to this offer? Any comments on the constraints?
