An internet legend about a townhome filled with thousands of beer cans is actually true and there are pictures to prove it. Last year the owner of a rented townhome received a call about a horrible stench. When he went to check it out, he discovered about 70 thousand beer cans and hundreds of beer boxes inside. There were so many cans the furntire was buried. The landlord says his tenant seemed like a normal guy and always paid his rent on time. Since the discovery the landlord helped his tenant kick the habit. He also recycled the cans, making about 800 dollars. Check out this video:

48070315763.wmv">The article reminds me of when I lived in Northeast Arkansas, and the beer places out in the rural countryside (Manila) where they would throw the empty beer cans out back. There would be large piles of empty beer cans. At the time most cans were steel so they probably rusted to nothing. I am sure there were some interesting snakes living in the piles.
