See link below about how Penn Brewery in Pittsburgh is planning to expand production. They plan to triple their bottling capacity. Also I saw an article (did not have time to really read) that the Church Brew Works in Pittsburgh is planning to bottle their beer. It will be on the Pttsburgh Business Times web site on Monday Sept 29.

Still, better to make and bottle your own than to contract it out, even under "supervision" from Penn employees.

The Pilsner is by far their biggest seller, and the bottles have (almost) always been done under contract. They do have a filler at the brewery to do the other specialty/seasonal beers.
I've heard SO many different numers on Penn's capacity and sales that I don't know what to believe anymore.
I hope this means they are finally buying the building across the street. That will solve their space problems for years. Unless people finally wake up and start buying their beer in the amounts it deserves.
