Does anyone know of anyone who is hiring bartenders? I don't have any bartending experience, but I did go to one of those bartender training schools and I am TABC certified. The school has a job placement program, but the leads that they gave me were useless. One of the bars that they sent me to only wanted to hire Spanish-speaking bartenders and another place only wanted African-American bartenders since all of their clientele are African Americans – I didn't qualify for either position. The other places that the school sent me to had already hired someone. Over the past month, I have filled out dozens of applications at various bars, hotels, and restaurants around town. I have been trying to fill out at least 3 applications per day. So far, I haven't been able to get any interviews.
No one will hire me because I have no experience because no one will hire me.
Does anyone have any suggestions?
