Best One Cup Grinder?

Feb 17, 2005 4 Replies

I make my coffee one mug at a time in a French Press. Is there a quality machine that is better for smaller quantities? Good coffee is the only enjoyment left in my miserable life so I don't care what it costs.

but the coffee prepared in a Frech Press is excellent. Are you sure that you are using a good coffe and your coffe is ground appropriately?

Alfredo

PS: I use a Bodum french press. Is some expensive but is very good

Since you are brewing a single cup at a time, I'd consider a Zass. It is a quality grinder that will last the rest of your life. I'm a Sweet Maria's fan, so here's a link:

Thanks for the reply. I never considered a manual grinder. Can you recomend anything particular? It looks like the main difference between most of them is cosmetic.

I always liked the idea of buying the best. Electric "best" look to be over $500! Are the "Zass" grinders at the top of the manual grinder heap?

Thanks for taking the time to answer my question, and I think I really am going to get one of these. They are appealing.
