Bad taste - ready to quit - Help!

OK this is a real problem & I can't be sure exactly what's going wrong. Brewing beer from kits has become simple, predictable, & high success rates can be expected. My advice is talk to your local brew shop, phone for an appointment so that they can select a "not too busy time" to devote to helping you. Then start again with a good quality kit & just follow the instructions exactly. Remember good hygiene is a must but the basics of this is not rocket science. Do not try anything fancy. Be careful to pitch yeast at the right temperature, use two yeast sachets from different batches to speed the start, use filtered water only, & ensure your bottles & caps are well sanitised, this later is not usualy a problem but in your case .............. ? Give it another go & good luck, Pete
