Does anyone know this Abloom-Tea ?

These are generally jasmine or other flavoured green teas. Some of good quality. Some not. They seem to make nice gifts etc. The ones sold in Chinese markets, in glass jars, for a relatively low price are coated with some sort of degradable plastic wash. They area bit shiny. Better teas are more costly and hand-tied, not coated. It seems to take a warmer water temp to get the suckers to "open" and thus may affect the taste of the tea since most are green tea based (although some Yunnan blacks are also hand-tied). Dragon Tea House on eBay, in European eBay, as well, wholesales a very good quality of this type of tea. So does Scott at Yunnan Sourcing (eBay). I've found that the "tea,toast and jam" ladies are really impressed with these and have given them to relatives with small glass teapots as gifts. Shen

I was wondering about the taste, because they recommend 8 min infusion time for it, while describing the tea as a very fine white tea...

Oh, well, since we don't have any "tea,toast and jam" ladies around, it probably won't fit in here.

I have my share. If you ever drink tea as a concentrate then these will get you kickstarted. I've switched from the blossom pitcher to drinking straight off the top in a thermal wall 8 oz glass cup. They put you in lala land. I get 5-6 4oz infusions with the blossom displacement. You would think more but by then your tastebuds are toast and castor oil would taste like syrup. You can't make any of these without using the bud which always commands a premium. One of the best green teas I've tasted is something I find in Chinatown called Fairy Peach blossom. I've never detected anything I would call artificial. I haven't made up my mind on the flavoring.
