Iced tea

Late this afternoon I realized that I'd forgotten to make iced tea. Normally I "cold-brew" it in the refrigerator for several hours, but there wasn't enough time to prepare a batch this way in time for dinner. I had to resort to making the tea hot and pouring it over a pitcher of ice. I haven't made iced tea this way in a long time. I dislike the way the tea turns cloudy. I know the appearance shouldn't matter but it always looks like sludge. Besides, cold-brewing is just easier. The tea that I used today was Lipton Yellow Label, purchased from an Indian grocery store. Not only did it not turn cloudy when chilled, it was the best iced tea I've had in quite some time. LYL is a little mild for my taste when used for hot tea, but I think I've just found a new iced-tea favorite.
