Ingenuitea question

Aug 03, 2005 2 Replies

I am intrigued by the Ingenuitea, but I use a 1 pt Mason Jar mug that is about 2.5" in diameter (where my "standard" sized mug is about 3"). Will the Ingenuitea work with a mug that has a somewhat small diameter?

Thanks, Tom

It isn't so much a matter of too big or too small, but the right size. The pegs on the Ingenuitea are 2-5/8" apart, so a mug with a rim just that diameter will be a problem. Larger or smaller, it can handle.

No problem, really. I have some that are small and I just set one peg outside the brim and two inside. No sweat. I have another that is large and the same technique works. Besides, you can always push the bottom up with two fingers and empty it, or use another cup.
