While in NYC last week I had tea and snacks at Hangawi Restaurant-It is vegetarian and serves francia tea. They are offering a 2 hour seminar on Korean green tea on severlal dates in September, October, November- to see a list of dates etc.

Korean green teas are excellent, though typically quite expensive. I excluded them from my budget this year, with regret.

How did you like the tea & snacks there? I've only had dinner there (several years ago), but was quite pleased.

Yes, Joanne, I'd like to know too. I'm a vegetarian, and this place has been recommended more times than I can count.

Word on the street is, the food is terrific but portions on the small side.

I can't comment on the portion size at their tea sessions, but at dinner you can eat yourself into (happy) oblivion.
