Hi Robert,
I've been looking at your web site. I notice you offer a 1950 and a 1930 pu-erh at $17.00 and $12.00 respectively. These prices strike me as slightly low. (Ho, ho.) Could you explain? Thanks.

Actually if you click on the price list those teas are $200.00 per tou cha. Those price appear to be the prices for a cup from the menu at the shop.

Yes, thanks. I noted my mistake after I posted. $200.00 still seems pretty low for a tea of those vintages.

Even on a per pot basis the prices are quite reasonable. At $200 per
500g 1930 toucha I would definitely buy one if I had the cash right now. Anyone interested in making a group order?Maybe I'll try to convince them to sell me small pieces of some of their teas.
Cheers,
Cameron

Cameron,
It's a good thought. I was burned on a similar purchase (1949) from Rishi awhile back where the tea turned out to be mediocre at best, actually poor. I believe that a 1930 pu-erh, well made and well stored, would command much more than $200.00. My experience is, however, limited, and I'd be happy to find I'm wrong. Perhaps let's investigate a bit further.
