Re: Question for English tea drinkers

I have been led to believe that *all* twinings Earl Grey (and probably almost all earl Grey world-wide) uses artificial flavouring. After speaking with my supplier i was told that bergamot oil only lasts a few weeks before it dissipates, making it a poor choice for teas. they also mentioned the concentrations of pesticides and herbicides present in the oil as additional reasons that the industry uses a 'flavouring' instead of the actual oil. take with a grain of salt, but I believe them when they tell me this.
