TaoBao?

Cowboy, are you still buying at TaoBao? If yes, how is your overall experience? Any advice? I have registered about a year ago, but they won't take PayPal, so I bailed out.

PayPal is now appearing on TaoBao. However I could never find anybody willing to ship international. Language is the main problem. I don't even bother anymore. I like Gordon at Dragon Tea House on Ebay. All my shu is starting to taste the same. I've been adding bitter baker's chocolate to the most rancid to cancel the tastes without waiting for father time. I like that better than just about anything with a better pedigree. White baker's chocolate is also a sexy addition but unfortunately sweetened and less cocoa.

I have a little experience with them. I know of at least 8 people from this city selling tea on taobao and from what I've seen they are basically trying to rip people off. It's your typical procedure: buy low quality tea and peddle it to the uninformed at the highest price possible.

I'd stay away from it, and I do.

Taobao prices vary greatly for the same thing. If you have something specific in mind though, you can always search for the cheapest option, which, in my experience, is really not that expensive.
