Aberlour 21

I just bought a bottle of the Aberlour 21.

I had wanted to try it for a long time. I'm quite fond of Aberlour. But I kept putting it off in favor of other bottles, and one day I found they were all gone. I don't know if Aberlour is still producing the 21yo, but it has disappeared from the local shelves in favor of the A'bunadh.

I thought it was just one of those bottles missed, but today I found a bottle on an outlying store's shelf. With a birthday coming soon providing my excuse, I didn't hesitate and grabbed it.

I haven't opened it yet, so I thought I'd ask for some impressions/opinions if any of you are familiar with this one, before I open it. What should I expect?

Bliss. 8;)

Smooth, strong honey/sherry notes, long on the palate -- wonderful after a rich dinner and cheese course. Complements a Penfolds Grange very nicely. 8;)
