I'm going to be in Glasgow for three nights in early April and the Pot Still reportedly has the best selection (540) of whiskies in Scotland. Any first-hand experiences with the place?

Can't help you on the Pot Still, but...I once spent two nights at the Glen Eagles Bar on Sony Record's tab. I was told at the time that they had the best selection of SM whiskies in Scotland. I wonder how many bars in Scotland make the same claim?

Been there yes. Very expensive, but very nice. I have also been in the Quaich bar at Craigellachie with 700 different malts. See here

Luckily I was leading a tour at the time with Serenity Scotland and had some very generous Swedish people in the tour.
