Any real ale in the south of France?

Heading down there en vacances shortly, and just wondered if anyone knew of any real ale in those parts - particularly Languedoc and Provence??

I did once find a Belgian bar in Nice Old Town, called de Klomp, but nothing else worth drinking. Stick to the local wine down there, especially if you can get it from what the locals call a "cave", which is a local winemaker.

We were in Brittany in May and the price was about 2,30 - 2,80 euros for a 25cl glass. Which, I must admit, seems very small when you're brought up on pints!)

Well i started rather naively on the Internet some years ago and using my real name has been a bloody nightmare for so doing. Anyway loobyloo sounds like something from the BBC kids programmes of many years back

Good to hear it because it certainly couldn't get any worse!

You're right there. More or less 5 Euro or about 3.50 a pint!
