Gotten bit by that but also seen the other way.
Went into a bar and asked for Glenlivet neat. New bartender, so I had to teach her - take glass, put scotch in glass, hand me glass. She fills and 8 oz glass to the rim. Charged me the same as the cheap stuff in the well.
