Bruichladdich Moine Mhor

I just picked up a bottle of Bruichladdich's new "Big Peat" bottling. I'm very happy with it. 50% ABV, no age statement. It's peaty and smoky without the iodine of Laphroaig. I enjoyed it most with a splash of water, which I normally reserve for CS bottlings. I'd be curious to try it next to the

12yo Lagavulin (and I will if my Christmas wish comes true). It's a good new alternative if you're in the mood for Laphroaig/Ardbeg/Peat Monster. Doesn't beat the Lagavulin 16yo IMO.

Thanks for the info - I'll be interested in acquiring some of that.

Can't seem to see it at Royal Mile - any links?

I got it at Warehouse Wine & Liquors in NYC. They have a website, but I can't find it. It might take a while for this particular bottling to get widely distributed; I think it's fairly new. The pamphlet that came with the bottle didn't have it listed. Good luck.
