Has anyone tried this yet?
I've been enjoying Single Malts for quite sometime now, but I have yet to be able to create any tasting note due to my general lack of experience.
Any other suggestions on "learning" more? For the $3 I may just have to try this!

*note - I've grown quite fond of Edradour (visited while honeymooning in Scotland), Talisker (Skye... my favorite place as well), and the rather inexpensive Dalmore 12. But I have a reasonable collection (for a 24 year old on a limited budget) which also contains an older (1965) Dewars, Ardbeg, Laphroig, Black & White, Chivas, House of Lords, and more that I can't think of at the moment.- Vote on answer

Join the friends of .... Macallan Ardbeg Laphroaig etc etc
Many of them givie out useful tasting notes. Macallan's tasting wheel is excellent and available from their website. If you can get their tasting CD it is well worth it.
Bear in mind that tasting is personal. I "taste" in 3 stages - nose, palate and finish. It works for me but probably comes about as I am a trained beer taster!
